About
North Sea Wind Power Hub is a renewable energy company specializing in Wind, Hydrogen, Energy Storage.
The North Sea Wind Power Hub is a collaborative programme of three leading European transmission system operators (Energinet, Gasunie, and TenneT) focused on unlocking the offshore wind potential of the North Sea through an integrated, transnational approach. The consortium conducts deep technological, economic, and regulatory analyses across four workstreams: system integration, technical feasibility, regulatory and market design, and cost-benefit assessment. Key activities include developing HVDC grid design principles, offshore electrolysis and hydrogen infrastructure, establishing energy corridors, and preparing blueprint frameworks for hub-and-spoke projects that enable coordinated multi-country energy connections. The programme is co-financed by the European Union's Connecting Europe Facility.
