ODTÜ-GÜNAM

Founded in 2009, ODTÜ-GÜNAM is a renewable energy company headquartered in Ankara, Turkey specializing in Solar.

ODTÜ-GÜNAM is the Center for Solar Energy Research and Applications at Middle East Technical University (METU) in Ankara, Türkiye. Established in 2009 and designated a Thematic Research Infrastructure under Law No. 6550 in 2021, it conducts multidisciplinary research spanning silicon and emerging photovoltaic technologies, solar module systems, concentrated solar thermal energy, power electronics, grid integration, and the social and economic impacts of solar energy. Its research divisions include materials development and recycling of end-of-life PV panels, building and agri-integrated PV, and social research. The center operates a semi-industrial photovoltaic pilot production line, cleanrooms and testing laboratories on a campus facility of over 4,500 m², and provides testing, prototyping, technology transfer and consultancy services in collaboration with academia and industry.
