About
Founded in 2020, OneNet Project is a government specializing in Solar, Wind, Energy Storage.
OneNet is a Horizon 2020 funded research and innovation project bringing together 72 partners, including two associations of European system operators. The project develops seamless integration mechanisms for all actors in the European electricity network to optimize the overall energy system and create an open, fair market structure. It operates through four regional demonstrators (Western, Northern, Southern, and Eastern) across 15 European countries, testing flexibility mechanisms, balancing, congestion management, and coordination between DSOs and TSOs. The project has created GRIFOn, an innovative platform for stakeholder dialogue and consensus-building on European market design. Key focus areas include standardized flexibility services, market-based products, interoperability platforms, and data exchange frameworks to support the integration of renewables and modernization of digitized power networks.
