Founded in 2014, Patres is a co-op headquartered in București, Romania with approximately 10-50 employees specializing in Solar, Wind, Hydro.

Patres is the leading industry association for renewable energy producers in Romania, founded in 2014 to address legislative instability affecting the sector. The organization represents producers across all four primary renewable technologies: solar, wind, hydro, and biomass. With 112 member companies operating approximately 2 GW of installed capacity and €3 billion in cumulative investments in the energy system, Patres actively participates in public consultation processes on energy legislation and ANRE regulations. The organization maintains representation on Social Dialog Commissions at the Ministry of Finance and Ministry of Energy. Patres advocates for legislative predictability, functional market design, energy storage development, and fair treatment of renewable producers. The organization also represents prosumers (consumer-producers) and supports small and medium-sized renewable energy investors. Leadership includes President Viorel Lefter and Primary Vice-President Martin Moise.
