About
Port Alliance is a co-op specializing in Wind.
Port Alliance is a cooperative alliance of major European seaports dedicated to supporting offshore wind energy development. The member ports include facilities in Germany (Cuxhaven, Eemshaven), Belgium (Port Oostende), England (Associated British Ports), France (Nantes Saint-Nazaire), Denmark (Port Esbjerg), the Netherlands (Groningen Seaports), and Poland (Szczecin and Świnoujście). The alliance aims to implement the EU's offshore wind strategy targets, planning to install at least 60 GW of capacity by 2030 and 340 GW by 2050. Key objectives include developing optimal port infrastructure processes, addressing space constraints, implementing digital technologies like digital twins, and strengthening Europe's energy independence through sustainable maritime practices and knowledge sharing among member ports.
