Founded in 2005, ProTech is a non-profit headquartered in Vilnius, Lithuania specializing in Solar, Energy Storage.
ProTech is a private non-profit applied research institute in Vilnius, Lithuania, established in 2005 under an FP5 Centres of Excellence project. It focuses on green energy generation and application technologies, including photovoltaics, energy storage (Na-ion batteries, PCM-based thermal storage), smart power electronics, energy-efficient buildings and environment-friendly materials. ProTech provides accredited PV module testing, RTD project management, feasibility and technology analysis, and CO2/LCA assessments for industry. It coordinates the Lithuanian Photovoltaics Industrial Technology Cluster (FETEK), operates open-access R&D infrastructure, and administers a plastics and new materials cluster. It also co-founded the PV company REDIGA.
