The organization works to help County Councils in areas with polluting industries achieve a just energy transition by establishing local implementation units for energy transition priorities. It pilots digital and ecological solutions in rural Romanian communities and schools, and participates in major international research projects investigating the economic effects of energy transition in Europe. The organization conducts work across environmental protection, energy, education, health, and digitalization domains. It leads the AdJUST Horizon Europe project (October 2022 – September 2026), a European research consortium studying distributive impacts of climate neutrality transition.
