Founded in 2011, Réseau Taranis is a cooperative headquartered in Rennes, France with approximately 11-50 employees specializing in Solar, Wind, Biomass.

Réseau Taranis is a regional network in Brittany that promotes and facilitates the development of citizen-led renewable energy projects. Founded in 2011 and animated since 2022 by Breizh ALEC, the network federates over 50 local project holders including citizen associations, local authorities, project companies, and partner structures. Taranis operates as the regional relay for the national Énergie Partagée movement, supporting projects across solar photovoltaic, wind, biomass, hydroelectric, and wood-energy sectors. The network provides dedicated accompaniment, training, resources, and peer-to-peer learning to help citizens collectively finance, own, and manage local renewable energy production in a participatory and democratic manner.
