A 4-kW rooftop solar PV installation erected in 1999 on the roof of a former school building in Marienberg. Built as a citizen solar power plant symbolizing the transition from atomic energy to the solar age. Still operational and generating revenue to support the association's work.
Citizen Solar Power Plant Kiefersfelden
The first citizen solar power plant in Germany, realized in the year 2000 in the municipality of Kiefersfelden. Positive experiences led to the subsequent creation of a citizen water power plant.
