In 2025, the project was designated a Strategic Project by the European Commission due to its potential to supply significant lithium quantities to the European battery value chain. The company is committed to responsible development with net-zero life-of-mine emissions targets and maintains active community engagement programs. A positive Environmental Impact Statement was issued in May 2023, and a Definitive Feasibility Study is underway.
