Founded in 2007, Seven States Power is a co-op headquartered in Jackson, United States with approximately 50-200 employees specializing in Solar, Energy Storage.

Seven States Power Corporation was established in 2007 as a collaborative entity between the Tennessee Valley Authority and 150 local power companies to address regional energy challenges and modernize infrastructure. Operating as a non-profit membership cooperative, the corporation owns and operates utility-scale power plants, transmission lines, and distribution-scale assets across seven states. The organization focuses on three main areas: Custom Generation, Reliability as a Service, and Transportation Infrastructure. Seven States has expanded from traditional generation assets to include innovative technologies such as EV charging stations, solar power installations, battery energy storage systems, and natural gas backup generators. In early 2025, the company was awarded $439 million in federal funding to build, own, and operate 250 MW of new solar capacity. To date, Seven States has installed over 500 EV charging ports across six states, secured $500 million in state and federal funding, and deployed 15+ solar and battery storage projects regionally.
