About
Founded in 2024, Sinnogenes is a ngo specializing in Energy Storage, Solar, Wind.
Sinnogenes (Storage INNOvations for Green ENErgy Systems) is a Horizon Europe project (Grant Agreement No. 101096992) focused on developing a complete framework of methodologies, tools, and technologies for energy storage integration. The project demonstrates innovative storage solutions across six pilot sites in Portugal, Spain, Germany, Greece, and Switzerland, addressing industrial parks, microgrids, transport systems, and island energy systems. It combines electrical, mechanical, electrochemical, and thermal storage technologies in various configurations, including hydro-pump storage, batteries, thermal energy storage, and power-to-gas solutions. The project aims to enable flexibility services, grid stability, and decarbonization while ensuring compatibility with flexibility market requirements and sustainability principles.
