Solar-district-heating is a European Horizon 2020 research and innovation project (grant agreement No 691624) dedicated to advancing solar district heating technology. The project coordinates efforts across three initiatives: SDHtake-off, SDHplus, and SDHp2m. It facilitates the widespread deployment of large-scale solar thermal plants integrated with district heating systems, combining with other renewable energy sources. The project engages 9 regions across 6 European countries, with primary activities in Italy (Valle d'Aosta and Veneto), and operates under the coordination of Solites.
