The facility uses an advanced Energy Management System (provided by Envitron) to connect solar generation, battery storage, and charging stations, enabling locally-generated solar energy to be consumed locally without overloading the electricity grid. The system addresses network congestion issues by storing excess solar energy in batteries for direct distribution to end-users. The installation also incorporates climate-adaptive features including permeable paving and rainwater infiltration systems. The project was developed through collaboration between Prowind BV and MyOffice, involving 41 partner organizations.
