STAR-C

Founded in 2023, STAR-C is a renewable energy company headquartered in Gurugram, India specializing in Solar.

STAR-C is an international project jointly implemented by the International Solar Alliance (ISA) and the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) with funding from the Government of France. The project enhances institutional and technical capacity of ISA member countries, particularly least developed countries and small island developing states, to accelerate solar energy deployment. STAR-C focuses on establishing quality infrastructure frameworks for solar photovoltaic and solar thermal products and services, developing harmonised solar technology curricula, and strengthening regional networks for knowledge transfer. The project operates across West Africa (ECOWAS region), East Africa (EAC region), and the Pacific (SPC region), working in partnership with regional renewable energy centres to improve standardisation, certification, accreditation, and technical training in the solar sector.
