Founded in 2013, Svenskt Geoenergicentrum is a non-profit headquartered in Lund, Sweden specializing in Geothermal.

Svenskt Geoenergicentrum is a knowledge center focused on collecting and disseminating national and international knowledge about geothermal energy and its applications in Sweden and globally. Founded in March 2013, it serves entrepreneurs, consultants, property owners, municipalities, authorities, research and educational institutions, manufacturers and other stakeholders. The center works across five main areas: collecting and disseminating geothermal knowledge; offering geothermal education; initiating and supporting geothermal research and development and statistics; contributing to standardization and certification; and collaborating with Swedish and international organizations. Geothermal energy comprises technologies that utilize ground, rock, groundwater, lakes and watercourses for heat and cooling extraction, including borehole heat exchangers, aquifer storage, and various thermal storage systems. Sweden has approximately 580,000 geothermal systems installed, contributing about 24 TWh per year of energy.
