SynGRID is a 36-month Horizon Europe project coordinated by the Institute for Innovation and Development of the University of Ljubljana. It aims to improve the management, observability and controllability of low-voltage grids as renewable energy sources, distributed energy resources and prosumers increase. The project transfers results from completed Horizon 2020 projects (COMPILE, X-FLEX, HE STREAM, OPENTUNITY) to research institutions and stakeholders in Croatia, Greece and Slovenia. Activities include research collaboration, mobility exchanges, summer schools, showcase events, policy briefs and regulatory analysis.
