Founded in 2021, Tech4Planet is a private headquartered in Roma, Italy specializing in Solar, Wind, Hydrogen.

Tech4Planet is the second Polo Nazionale di Trasferimento Tecnologico (National Technology Transfer Hub) established by CDP Venture Capital Sgr in 2021. The initiative operates as a structured innovation ecosystem designed to help research projects from sustainability-focused laboratories transition into viable commercial enterprises. With €55 million in funding allocated through CDP Venture Capital's Technology Transfer Fund, Tech4Planet collaborates with Politecnico di Milano, Politecnico di Torino, and Politecnico di Bari to support startups across five core sectors: energytech, circular economy, sustainable manufacturing, smart mobility, and water management. The hub's mission is to accelerate the market access and growth of deep-tech companies addressing environmental sustainability challenges. Tech4Planet supports startups throughout their development phases and facilitates connections between entrepreneurs, academic researchers, corporate partners, investors, and institutions to drive technological innovation and create economic and strategic value.
