Terschelling Energie is a local energy cooperative established in 2015 to advance sustainable energy transition on Terschelling. Operating as a member-owned cooperative, it manages two solar parks and two solar roofs totaling 2,908 solar panels with peak capacity of 963.32 kW, generating approximately 960 MWh annually. The cooperative reinvests profits in local sustainable projects and distributes green energy via partnership with Energie VanOns, ranked number 1 among Dutch sustainable energy providers since 2018. The organization supports climate initiatives through the Klimaatfonds fund.
