The consortium operates across four lighthouse airports—Amsterdam Schiphol, Oslo Avinor, Cyprus Larnaca, and Torino—implementing 17 demonstrator projects focused on sustainable aviation technologies. Key initiatives include hydrogen ground power units (H2-GPU), modular electric aircraft charging systems, iron flow batteries for energy storage, liquid hydrogen refueling infrastructure, hydrogen-powered ground support equipment, ultrafine particle mitigation, circular waste management systems, and sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) infrastructure. The project aims to contribute to zero-emissions and zero-waste airports by 2030 and climate-neutral aviation by 2050.
