Founded in 2014, Vedecom is a ngo headquartered in Versailles, France with approximately 50-200 employees specializing in Energy Storage.

Founded in February 2014, Vedecom is a public-private foundation and state-supported organization operating as an Energy Transition Institute (Institut de Transition Énergétique). Based in Versailles, it serves as a neutral space where industrialists, researchers, and territories collaborate on sustainable mobility solutions. The institute operates three strategic domains: electrification, autonomous and connected vehicles, and shared mobility solutions with renewable energy. Key facilities include MobiXlab, a dedicated center for electromobility testing in real-world conditions, digital platform services, and intelligent charging infrastructure. Vedecom participates in multiple European Union-funded projects including 2Zero, metaCCAZE, ZEV-UP, Hi-Drive, 5G-ROUTES, SCALE, and FAME, advancing zero-tailpipe emission mobility across Europe. The organization provides continuous engineering training on electric mobility, vehicle design, and innovative charging services (IRVE) according to ISO15118 protocol. Since 2025, Université Gustave Eiffel serves as the foundation carrier, strengthening its role in accelerating the transition to sustainable, innovative mobilities.
