Founded in 2018, Wij Duurzaam Staphorst is a co-op headquartered in Staphorst, Netherlands specializing in Wind, Solar.

Wij Duurzaam Staphorst is a community-owned cooperative established in 2018 with the mission to develop sustainable energy infrastructure while ensuring profits remain within the municipality. The cooperative successfully developed and now operates Windpark Bovenwind, featuring three wind turbines on the Berkenstouwe Gorterlaan Bovenweg location. The project achieved 100% local ownership through member participation and community engagement. The cooperative is also developing additional wind capacity at Rouveen Oost, with similar local ownership structures. Beyond energy production, the organization supports community initiatives through its social fund (Stichting Wij Support Staphorst), promoting local sustainability, social cohesion, and livability. The cooperative engages with residents, businesses, and municipal government to advance Staphorst's goal of becoming energy-neutral by 2050.
