Windpark Agro-Wind Reusel is a cooperative wind energy project initiated by the Vereniging High Tech Agro Campus, established in August 2016 by entrepreneurs, farmers, and residents in Reusel-Zuid, Netherlands. The project aims to construct 11 wind turbines along Postelsedijk near the Belgian border and A67 highway. Upon completion, the wind farm is expected to generate approximately 70 million kWh annually, supplying renewable electricity equivalent to 20,000 households and reducing CO2 emissions by 32,000 tonnes per year. The project received final approval in October 2025 with all necessary permits confirmed. The initiative operates under a community investment model, allowing local residents to participate financially and benefit from long-term returns. The cooperative also pursues broader ambitions toward an energy and climate-neutral region through integration of solar, biomass, and biogas energy sources.
