Windpark Westfrisia is a wind energy project developed as a cooperative model in Noord-Holland, Netherlands. The park consists of 5 wind turbines, each with a capacity of 2.35 MW, located between Westwoud and Zwaagdijk-Oost, north of the Westfrisiaweg. The project became operational in January 2019 and generates sufficient electricity to supply approximately 12,000 households annually. The development emphasizes community participation through the Westfriese Windmolencoöperatie, allowing local residents to participate financially and benefit from the project. The site received formal planning approval from the Dutch Council of State in September 2017.
