Founded in 1996, wpd Adria is a subsidiary headquartered in Dubrovnik, Croatia specializing in Wind, Solar.
wpd Adria d.o.o. is the regional subsidiary of the German wpd group, a developer of renewable energy projects. It focuses on developing wind farms and hybrid wind and solar plants in Croatia and the wider region, with a stated aim of supporting local communities and contributing to the Croatian electricity system. It has four operating wind farms in Croatia (Trtar-Krtolin, Orlice, Katuni and Ponikve) with a combined capacity of almost 100 MW, and is active in development projects in Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina and North Macedonia. The parent wpd group is a developer, financier, constructor and operator of wind and solar projects.

4VE Orlice
Wind farm near Šibenik with 11 Enercon turbines (3x E-48 at 800 kW, 8x E-44 at 900 kW). Annual production about 25 GWh.
VE Ponikve
First wind farm built in Dubrovnik-Neretva County, on the Pelješac peninsula, with 16 Enercon E-70 turbines of 2.3 MW each. Annual production about 65 GWh.
VE Katuni
Wind farm in the municipality of Šestanovac with 12 turbines. Annual production about 90 GWh.
VE Trtar-Krtolin
Wind farm with 14 Enercon E-48 turbines. Built in 2006.
