Zonnepark de Grift is a community-owned solar park located in Nijmegen-Noord, Netherlands, between the A15 highway and Oosterhout. The facility features 11,000 solar panels and is the second major energy project of Energiecoöperatie WPN, following the Windpark Nijmegen-Betuwe. Construction was completed at the end of 2021, with testing beginning in January 2022. The park operates under a cooperative model where residents of Nijmegen and surrounding areas can invest in the project through Zonaandelen (solar shares) and become member-owners. The solar panels are mounted on biobased concrete foundations for sustainability. Electricity from the solar park is fed into the public grid via shared infrastructure with the adjacent wind park.
