Zonneweideraak

Founded in 2020, Zonneweideraak is a co-op headquartered in Maarheeze, Netherlands specializing in Solar.

Zonnewei de Raak is a local solar park initiative developed by former dairy farmer and cheese maker Wim van Hooft. The project is designed as a 100% locally-owned cooperative project located on 17 hectares adjacent to the railway line near Maarheeze's Enexis distribution station. The solar park combines renewable energy generation with biodiversity enhancement, featuring native plantings to support insects, flowering plants, birds, and small mammals. The site includes community amenities such as a mountain bike route (Rakerpad, operational as of May 2025) and walking paths through the solar farm.
