Founded in 2016, Zonnewijdebreda is a co-op headquartered in Breda, Netherlands with approximately 1-10 employees specializing in Solar.

Zonnewijdebreda is a non-profit solar cooperative established in 2016 through citizen initiative, supported by Breda Municipality and Breda DuurSaam. The project features approximately 6,904 solar panels installed on 1.6 hectares at Steenakker industrial park. Members, called Zonnedelers (solar shareholders), have invested in solar shares, with those holding 100+ shares eligible for cooperative membership. All operational profits are reinvested in advancing the energy transition rather than generating investor returns. The cooperative relies on volunteer contributions to minimize operational costs.
