Agrolinera is an Asturian DairyTech company founded in 2022 in Salas. It develops patented systems for the collection, monitoring, pretreatment and logistics of manure and whey from traditional dairy farms and artisan cheesemakers, particularly in small-scale, dispersed communities. Its equipment includes collection containers, separation units and transfer devices, supported by a cloud platform with sensorised collection points that records waste transactions and supports traceability. Its customers are waste managers operating treatment or valorisation facilities, and its users are farmers and cheesemakers. Agrolinera's pilot project in Tielve, within the Picos de Europa National Park, collects whey from DOP Cabrales cheesemakers. The company also plans a biogas plant in Arenas de Cabrales (Pescandi Circular) to treat local manure and whey and produce energy and digestate fertiliser. Its approach aims to make small farms' waste management economically viable and to support circular economy projects in rural areas.
