Bonilait

Founded in 1956, Bonilait is a dairy industry manufacturer based in Chasseneuil-du-Poitou, France selling ingredients & cultures.

Bonilait is a French manufacturer of dairy ingredients and milk-based feed for animal nutrition. The company specialises in re-fattened whey powders and milk replacers for young ruminants, including calves, heifers, lambs and kids, and also produces liquid feeds for cattle and ruminant supplements. Its spray-drying and liquid-phase homogenisation processes produce high-fluidity, non-hygroscopic powders, and it formulates custom ingredients for industrial feed manufacturers. Bonilait processes more than one billion litres of whey a year, sourced mainly from cheesemaking partners, across its French industrial sites. The company is part of the Sodiaal cooperative group and reports exports to more than 50 countries.
