GIZEH Verpackungen is a German manufacturer of customised rigid plastic packaging for the food, drink and tobacco sectors, with a strong focus on dairy. Founded in 1920 as a cigarette paper producer in Cologne, the company moved into plastic packaging in the 1960s and became a major supplier of dairy tubs and cups. Its range includes thermoformed and injection-moulded tubs, PET containers, sleeved cups, in-mould labelled containers, two-compartment dessert pots and digitally printed reusable event cups. Production is spread across sites in Bergneustadt and Elsterwerda (Germany), Beaucouzé near Angers (France), Tarnowo Podgórne (Poland) and Brantford (Canada). The group is owner-managed and employs over 800 staff. It holds an energy management system certified to ISO 50001 and has installed photovoltaic systems at two German sites. Named dairy customers include the Theo Müller Group, Hochland, Campina, Lactalis and Yoplait, and the company has been awarded International Preferred Supplier status by the Theo Müller Group several times.
