Los Filabres is a Spanish goat livestock cooperative founded in 1983 in Almería, later expanding into Granada and Jaén through mergers with three cooperatives in Baza, Guadix and Iznalloz. It has more than 300 members and operates facilities in the provinces of Almería and Granada. For its dairy goat farms, the cooperative supplies milking machines and kid-feeding machines with spare parts, performs two annual inspections of milking equipment, and sells cleaning products and veterinary products prescribed by its veterinarians. It also manufactures customised feed mixes in an automated plant and supplies feed and forage to members by its own trucks and storage warehouses. Its collection centres in Taberno, Sorbas, Iznalloz and Baza chill raw goat milk, which it sells as liquid milk and as milk powder, frozen curd and frozen cream, with thermal treatment available on site. Milk is analysed in its own laboratory and by an independent interprofessional lab. The cooperative also processes and sells goat and lamb meat. Its goat milk is marketed to France, Italy and Portugal.
