SERAP Group is a French family-owned company founded in 1963 and headquartered in Gorron, in the Mayenne department of France. It designs, manufactures and sells stainless steel tank systems and heat exchangers. Its core dairy business is milk cooling equipment for dairy farms, including open and closed milk cooling tanks, silo cooling tanks for outdoor installation, mobile milk cooling troughs, a heat recovery module (SERATEMP) and the RAINBOW 2 cleaning system. The group also makes wine and fermentation tanks, and industrial and cryogenic freezing equipment for the food, pharmaceutical and cosmetics industries. Production sites are in Gorron and Replonges (France), Halol near Savli in Gujarat (India), Guadalajara (Mexico) and Batatais (Brazil). The company states a presence in over 100 countries. Its quality and environmental management systems are certified to ISO 9001 and ISO 14001. Most employees are also shareholders through an employee share scheme.
