2Excel Aviation is an aviation and aerospace services group operating across defence and security, engineering and disaster response. Its business lines include Capability Development, which designs, installs, tests and certifies aircraft modifications under design approvals held by 2Excel Design Ltd (formerly aeroDAC); Special Missions, which provides contract air services such as surveillance, reconnaissance, search and rescue and oil spill dispersant services; VIP and charter air services; and 2Excel Engineering, a maintenance and repair organisation for large aircraft. The group delivers live-flying training to British Army Forward Air Controllers and RAF crews under UK MOD contracts, using aircraft fitted with military-equivalent sensors and datalinks. It also supports flight test work, including the Boeing 757 Excalibur test aircraft for Team Tempest.
