Its work has included Royal Navy programmes such as the Vanguard and Astute class submarines, and it has supplied military systems to the British and other armies, including battery management equipment for Clansman radios. The company traces its origins to 1888 and was acquired in 2017 by JF Lehman, joining the AGI Holdings Group. Defence and security accounts for the majority of its turnover.
