Brookx Company B.V. is a Dutch power electronics company based in The Hague. It develops, designs, engineers, manufactures and supports high-reliability power conversion and control solutions, from 50 W to 12 kW, for extreme environmental conditions including shock, vibration, temperature and EMI. Its customers are global defense and industrial technology companies, and it also supplies the Dutch and US ministries of defence directly. Brookx traces its history to a radio manufacturer founded in The Hague in 1926 by Leo and Pieter Van Der Heem, which later became part of Philips and then Thales. The company was established through a management buy-out of Thales's Power Electronics business in the Netherlands on 1 October 2003. Brookx offers build-to-spec and build-to-print manufacturing under MIL-STD-1521 project management, and provides lifetime maintenance, repair and obsolescence management for legacy defense power supplies, some designed in 1979 and still produced today. All products are manufactured in-house at its Dutch facilities.
