Celeres, formerly GTD Space & Security, designs, integrates, operates and maintains software and systems for critical space, defence, transport and public sector missions. Its work covers launch control and telemetry, flight software, mission operations centres, flight safety and ground infrastructure for European spaceports, including Kourou, Andøya and Esrange. The company is prime contractor for several Ariane 6 and Vega-related systems and works with CNES, ESA and Arianespace. Its defence and security business protects military sites and infrastructure for the French Ministry of the Armed Forces, covering design, deployment, training and maintenance of security and IT systems. Headquartered in Barcelona with offices across Europe, the company was founded in 1987 and was carved out with Latour Capital as majority shareholder.
