CSM Industry s.r.o. is a Slovak manufacturer of the UDS brand of multi-purpose telescopic excavators and self-propelled landscaping machines, mounted on wheel or caterpillar chassis. Its range includes military and defence variants, such as the UDS 214 and the UOS 155 mine clearance machine, which are intended mainly to support engineer troops in military deployment and to clear mines. The company also offers firefighting and rescue variants, as well as forestry, mining, construction and river management models. It provides spare parts, warranty and post-warranty service, and customisation or upgrades of older machines. The company states that over 30,000 UDS machines have been produced and that the machines operate in more than 30 countries.
