Founded in 1956, Griffon Hoverwork is a defense prime contractor based in Portchester, United Kingdom working in naval systems, mro & logistics.

Griffon Hoverwork is a UK hovercraft and marine engineering manufacturer serving commercial, rescue and military customers. It designs and builds diesel amphibious hovercraft, from small craft to large high-payload vessels with payloads from about 380 kg to 150 tonnes, along with high-speed boats and interceptor craft. Its military products include landing craft air cushion vehicles and craft for navies, coast guards and border guards. The company also provides spares, in-service support, planned maintenance, technical support deployments, training and type rating courses. Its manufacturing facility is on the South Coast of the UK, in Portchester and Southampton. Griffon Hoverwork has supplied over 180 hovercraft to more than 41 countries. The company was formed from the merger of Griffon Hovercraft and Hoverwork, acquired by the Bland Group in 2008, and it rebranded as Griffon Marine in a later update to its branding.
