The company supplies vehicle manufacturers, the German armed forces and their allies, and has produced and overhauled components for the Leopard 2, PzH 2000 and M113. JOWA is registered with the Federal Office of Bundeswehr Equipment, Information Technology and In-Service Support under manufacturer number C7574, and KLN under C4536. It is medium-sized and owner-managed, and was acquired by Volkmar Noeske in 2023 as part of a succession solution.
