Lausberg Nassau is a medium-sized, owner-managed family business based in Nassau, Germany, founded in 1941 and now run by the fourth generation. It makes certified dangerous goods packaging from wood, wood-based materials and composites, including packaging for military goods such as weapons systems and large-calibre ammunition, and it supplies Bundeswehr equipment. The company also produces transport and storage containers, special tool boxes and fire protection articles for fire brigades. Its CNC-based production handles series and one-off custom designs developed from customer drawings or specifications. Packaging is approved by the Federal Institute for Materials Research and Testing (BAM), and the company holds over 80 dangerous goods packaging approvals. It is certified to ISO 9001:2015 and is a member of the HKI wood and plastics processing industry association in Rhineland-Palatinate. The company reports about 40 production staff, 8 administrative staff and 5 trainees, and it trains apprentices in cooperation with the Koblenz Chamber of Industry and Commerce.
