It designs, manufactures, integrates and supports C4ISR, electronic warfare and tactical systems for the British Armed Forces, emergency services and government customers. Its work covers signals intelligence and electronic intelligence, tactical communications and dismounted soldier systems, uncrewed and small UAS platforms, counter-UAS capabilities and hyperspectral imaging for ISR. MCL also supplies hearing protection and communication ancillaries, and provides through-life engineering, in-service support, repair and training. It holds Design Approved Organization Scheme accreditation from the Military Aviation Authority, allowing it to design and support equipment for military aircraft. MCL works with technology partners including FalCom and HySpex, and was selected to supply tactical audio components for the British Army Dismounted Data System programme.
