NIXUS is the brand of Zepelin, s.r.o., a manufacturer based in Trencin, Slovakia, that designs and produces rapid-deploy tents and shelters for armed forces, medical services and firefighting and rescue organisations. The mother company Zepelin was founded in 1996 as a manufacturer of inflatable structures and techtextile applications; the NIXUS brand was created in 2016. The company holds several international patents and works with inflatable high-pressure tents and one-piece aluminium folding frame tents. Its portfolio covers field camps, command posts, maintenance hangars, CBRN decontamination and isolation systems, mobile field hospitals, and firefighter and EMS shelters. Products are modular, interconnectible and designed for quick deployment and transport. The brand is represented in the USA by Zepelin USA with headquarters and technical background in Sarasota, Florida. The company states it has over 8000 square metres of manufacturing space and more than 100 employees, and it exhibits at international defence exhibitions.
