Rashtriya Metal Industries Limited (RMIL), also known as RMIL, is an Indian manufacturer of specialty cold rolled copper and copper alloy strips, foils, sheets, blanks and cups. Established in 1947 in Mumbai, the company consolidated its operations in 2010 at an integrated plant in Sarigam, Gujarat. Its facilities cover casting, cold rolling, annealing, slitting, electroplating, press shop and testing. RMIL produces cartridge case cups and bullet jacket cups for small arms ammunition, supplied to Indian Ordnance factories and sold for defence applications, as well as copper alloy and nickel alloy products for automotive, electrical, electronics, power cable and other engineering uses. The company is part of the Gravita Group and states a production capacity of 31,200 MTPA.
