RunFlat International is an independent manufacturer of run-flat systems and military wheels for armoured and security vehicles. The company develops its own composite material in-house, from raw chemicals through to fitted wheel assemblies, and supplies Dynamic and Static run-flat systems that let vehicles keep moving after ballistic or terrain-related tyre damage. Its systems are tested to military standards such as FINABEL and NATO, and are stated to have been approved by the ministries of defence of a number of countries. The company also supplies military and security wheels, complete wheel solutions and armoured vehicle tyres, and sells to civilian markets including buses, trucks, caravans, cash-in-transit and emergency vehicles. It is a subsidiary and partner of a wider engineering group with a long-standing non-ferrous foundry heritage. Wheels International was established alongside it to focus on lightweight military and security wheels.
