Founded in 1981, SC Group is a defense prime contractor based in Dunkeswell, United Kingdom working in land systems & vehicles.

SC Group is a holding company for international engineering businesses, including Supacat, SC Innovation, Proteum and Blackhill Engineering. Founded in 1981 in Southwest Devon, Supacat designs and manufactures specialised off-road wheeled and tracked vehicles for military and civil customers, including the High Mobility Transporter (HMT) family and electric all-terrain mobile platforms. The group designs and builds equipment for harsh environments and holds ISO 9001:2008 certification for its vehicle design, testing, prototype manufacture, low-rate production and fleet support. Its Supacat and SC Innovation businesses also supply clean mobility and maritime solutions, including lifeboat launch platforms developed with the RNLI. Proteum distributes and services marine diesel engines worldwide. Blackhill Engineering provides steel fabrication and machining. The group has offices in Devon and Southampton, England, and in Melbourne, Australia, with Supacat contracting 18 HMT Extenda vehicles for Czech Special Forces in 2025.
