Turan Ammunition is a Turkish manufacturer based in Üzümlü, Beyşehir, Konya. The company began in 1997 making hunting rifles and shotguns, later moving into sound (subsonic) bullets and hunting cartridges, and in 2019 started producing 9x19mm and other military-calibre ammunition. Its product range includes 9x19mm, 5.56x45mm, 7.62x51mm, 7.62x39mm and .308 Win cartridges, some built to NATO standards. The company states that it exports most of its production to America and European countries. It holds ISO 9001:2015 quality certification and reports participation in defense industry events such as IDEF and IWA. Stated production capacity is 50 million sound cartridges and 100 million 9x19mm cartridges. Its underground explosive storage facility is described as a 125-metre tunnel built on a 130,000 m site.
