A Sud is an Italian independent, feminist environmental association based in Rome. It works on environmental and climate justice, defending territories and the rights of local and indigenous communities, and challenging fossil fuel interests, speculation and unfair trade agreements. Its activities include advocacy and litigation, campaigns such as Clean the COP and Climate Pride, research through the CDCA, training via Training for Change, and the online magazine EconomiaCircolare.com promoting circular economy models. It also runs local community projects including Veritas 2.0 in the Terra dei Fuochi, Fandango Factory in Lecce, EcCiCoCo! in Pantelleria and RomaUp in Rome, and supports activists facing repression through the P.E.A.C.E. network.
