Founded in 2005, ACDemocracia is a non-governmental organisation based in Quito, Ecuador working on gender equality, human rights, democracy & civil society.

ACDemocracia is a non-governmental organisation legally constituted in 2005 in Ecuador. It works to strengthen organisations of women, youth, indigenous peoples and other social groups so they can fully exercise their rights. Its work includes advocacy with state authorities, drafting reports for United Nations human rights committees, participatory policy and legal reform proposals on gender equality, citizen training, and citizen oversight of rights. It also runs regional and global networking and coordinates with national coalitions and international partners.
