Paris, France
About
ADUH is a non-governmental organisation based in Paris, France working on lgbtq+, human rights, justice & legal aid.
The Association pour la dépénalisation universelle de l'homosexualité (ADUH) is a French association under the 1901 law, based in Paris, that campaigns for the worldwide decriminalisation of homosexuality. It brings together associative actors and LGBT public figures. Its work includes covering legal fees for people prosecuted because of their sexual orientation, providing legal arguments and free documentation for decriminalisation, and maintaining an interactive map and country profiles of laws criminalising homosexuality in around 65 countries. It also publishes information on persecution of LGBT people and organises international conferences, such as a 2025 event in Paris with Stop Homophobie and the City of Paris. The association advocates for the rights of LGBT people across Africa, Asia, the Caribbean and Europe, working with local LGBT organisations.
